Hi, I'm Collin
MY BACKGROUND
As a young resident of Flagstaff, I am passionate about our community and its future. I am running for city council to represent the voices of our younger generation and to work towards a brighter future for all Flagstaff residents. I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Flagstaff to attend Northern Arizona University. While pursuing a degree in Political Science, I became involved in local politics and community activism. I have spent the last several years focused on engaging young voters and encouraging civic participation. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to work with students in the public schools in afterschool enrichment programs. Gaining experience in leadership and community engagement. I am excited to bring my skills and passion to the city council and to work towards a more equitable and sustainable Flagstaff.
MY CAMPAIGN
My campaign is focused on three main pillars: sustainability, equity, and community engagement. I believe that we can create a more livable and thriving Flagstaff by addressing issues such as affordable housing, transportation, and environmental sustainability. I am committed to working with all members of our community to ensure that everyone has a voice and a seat at the table when it comes to decision making. As a young person running for office, I am also passionate about engaging our younger generation in the political process. I believe that we need more young people in office to represent the diversity of our community and to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the table.
MY MISSION
Building a Better Flagstaff
As a candidate for city council, my mission is to build a more sustainable, equitable, and engaged Flagstaff. I believe that we can achieve this by working together as a community and by listening to all voices, especially those that have been historically marginalized. I am committed to promoting policies that prioritize the well-being of all residents, including affordable housing, access to healthcare, and environmental sustainability. I also believe that we need to engage our community more in the decision-making process and create opportunities for people to have a say in the future of our city. Together, we can build a better Flagstaff for all.
